The expansive site allowed the house to have views from all sides, with the resulting design featuring two wings crossing each other with a double height apex. Natural materials such as timber and stone, and full height windows draw these views into the house for an open feeling throughout. The master suite is located upstairs and looks out over the terrace and to the forest beyond, with the children’s bedrooms and media room located in the opposite wing. The house provides many different spaces for a busy household to use simultaneously, with connections to the garden from every room.
